Join Órla McCague (Co. Monaghan, Ireland), Karine Gallant, Ian Macinnes, Cian Ó Móráin (Co. Kerry, Ireland), Mary MacGillivray (Cape Breton, NS), Andrée Makult Theriault and Erin Dempsey for a weekend of traditional Irish tunes, workshops, performances, good company & great craic!
Our extensive weekend line-up ensures you are immersed in the culture & music of Ireland. We welcome musicians of all ages and abilities to take part in our sessions & workshops. Take this opportunity to ask our instructors any questions you may have about repertoire & technique, build friendships within the local music community, use your cúpla focal (few Irish words) and create a weekend of lasting memories.
Friday 11th June - Traditional Irish Music Concert
Join our above tutors at the Old Triangle from 8 - 10pm for an evening of tunes, songs and good Irish humour.
All welcome. Tickets $20/$10 Comhaltas members.

Saturday 12th June
Take part in our all-day fiddle & accompaniment workshops, in the Pourhouse at the Old Triangle.
10am - 12pm: Órla McCague teaches the repertoire of the Oriel Traditions of Co. Monaghan.
Hailing from the island of Ireland, Órla has joined with great local talent in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is part of a wider trio, named 'Ten Pegs' whom are regulars to the music scene in Halifax.
Partake in this online workshop (Zoom) from the comfort of your own home, or join other musicians in the Pourhouse and watch Órla on the big screen as a group of collective participants and learners.

2pm - 4pm: Karine Gallant & Ian Macinnes share the tips & tricks that have this acclaimed duo a household name across the island of P.E.I.
These wonderful musicians and talented composers explain the art of their music, the inspiration behind their tunes, and how they successfully arrange their sets.

Evening Session 8pm at the Old Triangle
Having returned from 2 years abroad immersed in the music and culture of County Cork, Ireland, join Andrée Makult Theriault and Erin Dempsey who's repertoire is rich with the Munster dialect, with it's distinct bowing style.
All Welcome. Free admission.
